On 8 August 2025, GreenCIC conducted a site visit and working session with Nghi Son 2 Power Limited Liability Company (NS2PC) as part of its verification service for the company’s 2024 greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory report. The verification team carried out a thorough review to identify any non-conformities or points requiring clarification, focusing on the accuracy and completeness of the report’s content, information, and data. This review was implemented in strict compliance with the GHG statement verification process, and evidence was collected in accordance with the plan that had been developed and agreed upon with NS2PC during prior meetings.

Based on Decree No. 06/2022/NĐ-CP and Decree No. 119/NĐ-CP, the verification team reviewed each category of reported emission sources and cross-checked them against the technical guidance circulars issued by the relevant line ministries. In each area visited, representatives from the respective departments provided introductions to their information and data management systems, measurement and quantification methods within their areas of responsibility. GreenCIC visited and collected on-site evidence in the following areas:

Throughout the process, GreenCIC presented its findings and requests for further review, to which NS2PC responded promptly by providing the necessary information and evidence. This effort was made possible through the active involvement of the company’s QHSE, Planning, Operations, and Finance–Accounting departments. The effective cooperation between the two sides not only ensured the smooth execution of the verification but also supported the shared objective of enhancing the quality of NS2PC’s GHG inventory report. In doing so, NS2PC strengthens its capacity to meet Vietnam’s national GHG inventory requirements while demonstrating its commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development.
Representatives of NS2PC expressed high appreciation for GreenCIC’s thorough and well-structured verification of the company’s GHG inventory report, noting that the process provided valuable insights and practical experience. These contributions, they affirmed, will help reinforce the foundation for producing increasingly accurate and reliable GHG inventory reports. At the same time, the collaboration further underlines GreenCIC’s credibility and standing as a trusted verifier of GHG inventory reports in Vietnam.
