GreenCIC accredited as a GHG validation and verification body for the Generation and Electric Power Transactions Sectors

On 23/02/2026, Green Climate Innovation Company Limited (GreenCIC) was officially accredited by the National Accreditation Bureau (BoA) as a greenhouse gas (GHG) validation and verification body, under accreditation number VICAS 119 – GHG.

The accreditation was granted based on GreenCIC’s full compliance with the requirements of the international ISO standards framework, including:

• ISO/IEC 17029:2019: Conformity assessment - General principles and requirements for validation and verification bodies;
• ISO 14065:2020: General principles and requirements for bodies validating and verifying environmental information;
• ISO 14066:2023: Environmental information - Competence requirements for teams validating and verifying environmental information;
• ISO 14064-3:2019: GHG - Part 3: Specification with guidance for the verification and validation of GHG statements.

Within the scope of accreditation, GreenCIC is qualified to conduct GHG validation and verification at the organization level in the Generation and electric power transactions sector, in accordance with ISO 14064-3:2019.

Achieving VICAS 119 – GHG accreditation represents a significant milestone, demonstrating GreenCIC’s long-term commitment to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of GHG emissions data, while supporting enterprises in complying with domestic and international legal requirements and climate mechanisms.
